As part of our continuous improvement program, St Anns Sheet Metal are delighted to announce that we have purchased a brand new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software system. Currently we are using different systems to manage and monitor our workflow which can sometimes be disjointed and time consuming to use, so the acquisition of this software will bring this all into one system and allow easier traceability of Sales Orders, Works Orders, PO’s, Invoices and other such documentation.
Richard Atkin – General Manager
“Having assessed a number of different options over the last few months, we have decided to go with MIETrak Pro, from MIE systems ,MIETrak Pro is a proven ERP system which will streamline our operations, from quoting through to invoicing. Coupled with a shopfloor data capturing package, which will give us real time information on current workload, and an integrated quality module, St Ann’s will have a much greater access to information allowing us to work more efficiently and effectively in the future”.
Modules include Quoting/Estimating, Sales Order Processing, Works Orders, MRP (Material Resource Planning) System, Purchasing, Shop Floor Data Capture, Invoicing & Quality Control amongst others.
Having now undertaken the first day of training we will be installing, populating databases and resuming training over the next few weeks with a view to going live on the system sometime in the New Year.
